Live Blood Analysis

What is Live Blood Cell Analysis?

Live blood analysis, also known as live cell microscopy, is the use of a darkfield microscope to observe living blood cells, blood plasma, and other components that may be present within a single droplet of blood. Live blood analysis gives a glimpse into the health of your body’s internal environment (terrain) and can reveal your present state of health as it relates to nutritional imbalances, immune response, liver stress, oxidative damage, toxicity, allergies, and digestion. If your body’s terrain is health promoting (healthy) you will be less likely to become sick from pathogenic bacteria, viruses, and toxins. Live blood analysis can be used to monitor current health indicators, detect early warning signs of possible problems and monitor progress over time.

A knowledgeable practitioner can provide tailored nutrition, supplement, and lifestyle recommendations that will help you to achieve and maintain a healthy terrain so that you can experience optimal healthy living and feel your best.

What is Observed?

Live blood cell analysis can reveal:

  • The condition of red blood cells
  • Low oxygen levels / poor circulation
  • The state of your immune system
  • Allergic response
  • Nutrient deficiencies such as low iron, vitamin B12, folic acid, protein, and fatty acids
  • Incomplete or delayed digestion of fats and proteins
  • Indications of hormonal imbalance
  • Oxidative damage (the need for antioxidants)
  • Systemic inflammation
  • Liver stress
  • Toxic conditions
  • Parasites
  • Dehydration

Live blood analysis is not used to diagnose disease.

How is it performed?

A single droplet of blood is harvested via a small prick to the finger using a sterile lancet (same device used by diabetics to monitor blood glucose levels). The blood is placed on a glass slide and observed on a microscope connected to a screen via video camera.

You will get to see for yourself how your blood changes as your health improves from one appointment to the next.
